Comment ça marche?

Chaque talent est associé à un attribut et un niveau. Pour avoir le talent de force niveau 3, il faut avoir 3 de force. Aller au fond d’un arbre est un gros investissement. Le coût est le même que les attributs.

Wild talent

Certains personnages pourront gagner des wild talents ou les acheter en dehors de la règle de progression quant l’histoire le justifie. Par exemple, le “dual wielding” de Ian McKnight en est un.

Attribute Talents

Strength

L1-The mule; le personnage peut transporter un moment un autre personnage inconscient.
L2-Caveman’s strength; +1 damage / rank to Melee and Unarmed.
L3-Strong; +1 Beta to unarmed and melee damage.

Agility

L1-Sure Footed; Advantage when resisting trip or balance check.
L2-Mobility; Great advantage to dodge when running.
L3-Quick hands; Quick draw. Surprise attack start of combat.

Stamina

L1-Rule #1; Great advantage to all cardio or endurance roll.
L2-McLane’s; -1 damage/rank.
L3-Push through the pain; Fatal hit can reduce damage by stamina roll.

Comms

L1- Auto reply; Free complete reply out of turn.
L2- Xeno Linguist; Understand “enough” alien.
L3- Clarity; That’s it. No more misinterpretation. No confusion.

Manipulation

L1- Silver tongue; No longer detected automatically on failed manipulation attempt. Need a separate check.
L2- Convincing; You can permanently change someone’s idea on a specific topic until that persons live or see otherwise then a reroll is allowed.
L3- Inception; You can subconsciously throw ideas that take a life on their own. This is a difficult check over many weeks/months.

Charisma

L1- Seduce/Inspire/Allure; You power of attraction is stunning and create lasting effect. You get an advantage on all “seduced” persons until you are proven false/betray their trust.
L2- Awe; You naturally catch the spotlight; you can entertain people for hours in one art forms or another. You are just that good.
L3- Mass Distraction; In combat, you managed to be the center of attention affecting a lot of people. The style depends on the social tactics employed.

Cognition

L1- Fast learner; You get 2 xp per game to spend only on knowledge rank and perks.
L2- Bookworm; All knowledge are class skills.
L3- Advanced knowledge; You get a great advantage on all knowledge roll with more than 50% to succeed. You get an advantage on all others. It it’s possible to know. You might.

Perception

L1- Sharp senses; You can ignore all but total concealment penalty.
L2- Systematic search; When you actively search for something, you get a great advantage.
L3- Eyes in the back of your head; you have a global 360 degrees awareness. You can’t be flanked or back-stabbed if your senses can catch it.

Reaction

L1- Instinct; You get one free movement or piloting action at the start of combat.
L2. In the matrix; You get 1 lambda per rank. Salarian get this for free.
L3. Endless opportunity; You get 1 reaction per rank.
